Welcome to the UBA
Hello my name is Howard Jordan founder, CEO and Commissioner of the Unified Basketball Alliance (UBA) a professional basketball league.
We are excited to welcome you to our league and our up and coming USA based organization.
The vision of the UBA is to supply our USA players an opportunity to continue their dream as possible professional basketball players.
We will be focusing on players that have decided to complete four years of college and would still love to play at the next level.
We will include the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) that seem to somehow be forgotten in todays market.
We want the strong presence of equity in women ownership and participation.
We will seek out strong defensive minded players giving our league an old school twist with a new school flavor.
We will dedicate our league to finding the Willis Reed, Jerry West, Wes Unsel, Larry Bird, Earl (Pearl) Monroe and Walt Frazier type players.
We will address the 800 pound gorilla in the room of racism and how it can be resolved through respect and sportsmanship and the promise to always have an open format when needed about social issues.
We are looking for players, ownership and (UBA) league officials who are willing to give back and dedicate themselves to youth and community involvement.
The league (UBA) will dedicate itself to not only making USA basketball great again but attacking total equality among black, white, red, brown and yellow. United, all colors will stand in lock step.
We will have every opportunity to have all grow within our infrastructure. We welcome all ideas, enthusiasm, expertise, energy and positive thoughts for development.
